		<description>I think one of the main reasons a lot of people are still using IE6 is because they are ineligible for updates due to their use of pirate software and Microsoft&#039;s insistance on blocking these users from getting updates. 

It&#039;s typically a case of son/neighbour/friend setup the computer years ago with a dodgy copy, they don&#039;t have a clue how to upgrade or if they do, how to get round all the &#039;Windows Genuine Advantage&#039; rubbish leaving them with an insecure computer with a naff old browser. These people won&#039;t make the leap to a modern browser until their current computer dies. Then they&#039;ll be stuck with whatever browser Microsoft currently installs with the OS by default and won&#039;t even consider the better options that are out there.

On top of that, their are huge swathes of people in China and other parts of Asia using pirate copies of Windows XP with IE6 who also can&#039;t get updates.</description>
